Gimpo film festival awards ‘Snoring’

Iranian short documentary ‘Snoring’ has been awarded at the Gimpo International Youth Film Festival in South Korea.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that Sara Abedi’s ‘Snoring’ won the best film award at the 5th edition of the Gimpo.

The film is about Sara, a 10-year-old girl, who is complaining about her father’s snoring.

“She tries to get her dad to stop snoring,” a synopsis for the film reads.

‘Snoring’ was previously awarded at the 25th Fresh International Film Festival in Ireland.

The Gimpo International Youth Film Festival is a cinematic event for kids and the youth.

The 5th edition of the festival took place on November 19-27.
